GE Fanuc IC660BBS101

The IC660BBS101 is an isolated Genius I/O block from GE Fanuc, designed to deliver reliable performance in industrial automation applications. Featuring a power rating of 115 VAC or 125 VDC, this module supports an output current of 2 Amps with frequency compatibility between 47-63 Hz. Weighing 4 lbs, the block ensures robust operation with a block-to-block isolation rating of 1500 Volts. It is fully compatible with the handheld monitor IC660HHM501 and integrates seamlessly with any GE Fanuc bus controller, including PCIM and QBIM models. The IC660BBS101 is backward compatible with earlier iterations, specifically IC660CBS100, IC660BBS100, and IC660BS101.

Equipped with individual LEDs for each circuit, the module provides clear feedback for both input and output configurations. When set as inputs, the LEDs indicate threshold voltage, while outputs show the state dictated by the CPU. The I/O block can be configured as input-only, output-only, or in a mixed mode, with the default setting as input-only. In the input-only configuration, circuits can be set to regular or tristate inputs, whereas the output-only setting strictly enables output operations. Additionally, the isolated I/O blocks perform essential diagnostic checks for over-temperature, load absence, unexpected shutdowns, switch failures, and power overloads.

During installation, the terminal block facilitates easy wiring, accommodating one AWG #12 or two AWG #14 wires, with a minimum recommended wire size of AWG #22. It also supports spade or ring terminals up to 0.27 inches wide, allowing for the connection of up to five power sources to the terminal assembly. The IC660BBS101 offers versatility and reliability for complex industrial control systems.
