Description
The Siemens 6SL3040-1MA00-0AA0 is the CU320-2 DP control unit for the SINAMICS S120 drive system. As the central controller of an S120 lineup it executes closed-loop control for multiple axes, coordinates line modules and motor modules over DRIVE-CLiQ, and communicates with the automation system over PROFIBUS DP. The CompactFlash card holding firmware and licensing is not included.
CU320-2 control units are used in multi-axis servo and vector applications across machine tools, packaging, printing, converting, and general production machinery.
