Built for Industry 4.0 environments where connectivity, safety certification, and precision are non-negotiable, the Fuji Electric FRN0346G2W-2GU is a FRENIC-MEGA (G2) series advanced variable frequency drive (VFD) for 230V three-phase applications, rated at 125 HP / 346A (Normal Duty), 100 HP / 288A (Heavy Duty).
The FRENIC-MEGA G2 generation introduces key advancements over the G1 platform: native support for permanent magnet (PM) motors — both Interior PM (IPM) and Surface PM (SPM) — enabling pairing with high-efficiency PM motors for system efficiency well above standard induction motor installations. Built-in Safe Torque Off (STO, SIL2/PLd certified) eliminates external safety contactors in many machine safety architectures, meeting IEC 62061 and ISO 13849 requirements.
