The Traditional WP28 Series represents a proven water-cooled panel-mounted air conditioning solution engineered for industrial control enclosures requiring robust thermal management and long-term reliability. Built with a heavy-duty steel shell finished in ANSI 61 gray baked powder coat, this unit delivers exceptional durability and corrosion resistance in demanding factory environments, with custom color options available to meet specific aesthetic or identification requirements.

The WP28 Series incorporates precision ball-bearing blower motors that are UL/CSA Recognized and equipped with automatic-reset thermal overload protection for safe, unattended operation. Double-sealed or double-shielded precision ball bearings combined with specialized permanent lubricants enable the motors to perform reliably across an extended temperature range from minus 20 degrees Fahrenheit to 250 degrees Fahrenheit, while tube axial fans are rated for 14 degrees Fahrenheit to 158 degrees Fahrenheit and designed to meet UL, CSA, and VDE standards for international compatibility.

A closed-loop cooling system isolates the enclosure interior airflow from ambient conditions, preventing warm or humid air from contaminating the sensitive component compartment and ensuring consistent, reliable cooling performance. An electronic thermostatic low-temperature control prevents over-cooling while optimizing energy efficiency, while the integrated water regulating valve and excess pressure control manage coolant flow for stable operation.
