KPHE28 Water-to-AirPanel-Mounted Heat Exchangers

The KPHE28 is a water-to-air panel-mounted heat exchanger designed to deliver below-ambient cooling capability for sensitive electronic components and industrial equipment housed in enclosed cabinets. Its closed-loop cooling architecture isolates the enclosure interior airflow system from both ambient air and the external water circuit, preventing ambient air infiltration into the cool, dehumidified sensitive component compartment and maintaining precise environmental control.

The unit features epoxy-coated heat exchanger coils engineered to withstand severe environmental exposure, with a coating rating of 1000 hours of salt spray per ASTM B 117 test method standards. The heavy-duty steel shell is finished with a baked powder coating for additional protection against corrosion and wear. Note that severe operational environments such as wastewater treatment facilities and applications with persistent salt spray exposure may still cause corrosion over time regardless of protective coatings; consult the factory regarding warranty limitations and additional corrosion protection options for such applications.

The KPHE28 maintains full NEMA 12 and 3R enclosure ratings (UL50) with complete gasket sealing for tight, leakproof installation. All motors are UL/CSA Recognized ball-bearing units equipped with automatic-reset thermal overload protection, designed for low temperature rise operation and cooled by the blower intake air to maximize motor life expectancy. The motors utilize special permanent lubricants formulated for reliable performance across an extended temperature range of -20F to 250F, and carry a Declaration of Conformity to applicable CE Standards. The unit is UL/CUL Listed, ensuring full compliance with North American safety standards.
