The B&R Automation X20CP1583 is a fanless X20 PLC CPU built on an Intel Atom compatible 333 MHz processor with a dedicated I/O processor for deterministic X2X Link handling. Onboard interfaces include Ethernet, POWERLINK, and RS-232, and the CPU carries 128 MB DDR2 SDRAM for the application. It is used as the main controller in mid-size machine automation systems programmed with Automation Studio.
