It supports TCP/IP and UDP with multicast, SEND/RECEIVE with and without RFC1006, Fetch/Write services, S7 communication (server), and operation as a PROFINET IO device. An integrated 2-port switch based on the ERTEC 200 provides two RJ45 ports at 10/100 Mbit/s and allows line topologies. Module replacement without a programming device, SNMP diagnostics, and initialization over LAN simplify service.
