The Siemens 6ES7193-6AR00-0AA0 is a SIMATIC BusAdapter BA 2xRJ45 for the ET 200SP distributed I/O system. It plugs into the BusAdapter slot of ET 200SP interface modules (and other SIMATIC devices with BusAdapter slots) and provides two RJ45 sockets for the PROFINET connection using standard Ethernet patch cables.
The two ports allow line topologies to be built from station to station without external switches. Fiber and FastConnect variants of the BusAdapter exist for other cabling requirements.
