The Schneider Electric XPSMC16Z is a Preventa XPS MC configurable safety controller with 16 safety inputs and 2 relay output groups (4 NO safety contacts), powered by 24 VDC. It monitors devices such as e-stops, guard switches, light curtains, and two-hand controls, replacing multiple discrete safety relays with one configurable unit.
Thirty LEDs provide channel-level diagnostics. The controller operates from -10 to +55 C and carries an IP20 rating.
