The Schneider Electric (Square D) HLL36040 is a Powerpact molded case circuit breaker rated 40 A, 3-pole, 600 VAC, with an interrupting rating of 100 kA at 480 V. It uses a thermal magnetic trip unit with LI (Long-Time and Instantaneous) protection functions and Feed-Thru connection with line and load side lug terminals. It is UL listed, current limiting, and suitable for reverse-fed applications, with a non-interchangeable trip unit.
Breakers of this frame protect feeder and branch circuits in industrial and commercial distribution equipment, combining thermal overload protection with magnetic short-circuit protection in a compact molded case.
