Description
The MVI56E-MCMR by ProSoft Technology is an enhanced Modbus serial communication module for 1756-format in-chassis platforms, with a reduced data block format suited to remote rack and redundancy architectures. It supports Modbus RTU/ASCII with two application serial ports configurable as RS-232, RS-485, or RS-422, with baud rates from 110 to 115.2 kbps and flexible parity, data bit, and stop bit settings.
A debug/configuration RJ45 Ethernet port (10/100Base-T with auto-crossover) plus LED indicators simplify setup and diagnostics through ProSoft Configuration Builder.
