Honeywell Spyder5 Controller, 9 IO

The Honeywell Spyder5 Controller boasts a 9 Input/Output system with the capacity for variable air volume control. It is programmable with four User Interfaces, two Analog Outputs, and three Digital Outputs, which makes it an adaptable solution for multiple applications. The system is built on BACnet MS/TP Communication and has RS-485 ports, ensuring smooth and efficient network communication.

Adding to its functionality, the controller comes with an integrated actuator with a 90-second runtime at 60 Hz. Its compact design lends itself to installations in small enclosures while its integrated DP sensor and field replaceable 44 in-lbs actuator enhance its precision and efficiency. It features a high-precision bi-directional DP sensor for accurate measurements, even at low air flows.

User-friendly elements include color-coded removable terminal blocks to simplify wiring and replacements, as well as an easy installation process on round ducts. It supports both offline and online programming, with the latter enabling quick application optimization using a single tool.

The broken-master concept enables the bulk commissioning of similar controller applications, further improving the functional prowess of the Spyder5 controller. The system also boasts an auto MAC-addressing functionality, a Sylk Bus two-wire polarity-insensitive interface for connecting to Honeywell Sylk wall modules, and an integrated real-time clock with a supercapacitor for 72 hours of data retention.

The Spyder5 operates optimally at conditions ranging from 32 F to 122 F, with a humidity range of 5% to 95%. It requires a power voltage of 24 VAC and an operating power consumption of 20VA. With certifications from UL916, UL2043, BTL, CB Certificate, and CE approval, including FCC Part 15B-Compliance, it also maintains RoHS conformity. It is currently in progress for a BACnet B-AAC profile. The DIN rail-mountable controller upholds the high standard in industrial automation models like every Honeywell product.
