The Honeywell Spyder 21 IO is a versatile, fully programmable unitary controller. Empowered by six User Interfaces, four Digital Inputs, three Analog Outputs, and eight Digital Outputs, it is integrated with BACnet MS/TP and RS-485. Its Real-Time Clock and Sylk Bus systems are notable features which enhance functionality and usability.

This controller is equipped with an EIA-485 communications network that facilitates Baud rates ranging between 96 and 1152 kbits/s. Both its controller housing and actuator are UL Plenum Rated, ensuring safety and efficiency. The Spyder supports up to 40 controllers per BACnet MS/TP segment, although operation under 30 is recommended for optimal performance.

Its design accommodates Sylk-Enabled sensors using the Sylk Bus system, characterizing this product as highly adaptable. The unit incorporates a Function Block Engine, allowing application designers tremendous flexibility in HVAC applications. Furthermore, it provides built-in zone control functions such as a remote wall module interface and a scheduler.

This product is UL/cUL listed under UL916 with a Plenum rating, and meets FCC Part 15, Subpart B, Class B for radiated emissions requirements. Designed specifically for use in fan coils, heat pumps, and unit heaters, it can be easily mounted using a standard DIN Rail Mount.
