The Honeywell Spyder 10 IO is a VAV Programmable Controller that is designed for utmost flexibility and control. With capabilities such as 4 UI 2 AO 4 DO, BACnet MS/TP, and RS-485, each controller is equipped with a unique license. Its real-time clock and Sylk Bus provision enhance its functionality and accommodate Sylk-enabled sensors.
The Spyder 10 IO operates on an EIA-485 Communications Network capable of Baud rates spanning from 96 to 1152 kbits/s. Its housing and actuator are UL Plenum rated guaranteeing exceptional durability. This controller can support up to 40 controllers per BACnet MS/TP segment although it is advised to operate below 30.
Embedded with a Function Block Engine, the application designer has the freedom to program this controller for a wide range of HVAC applications. Along with a built-in zone control function that has a remote wall module interface and a scheduler, this product stands out for its versatility and adaptability.
The Spyder 10 IO also features a microbridge air flow sensor with a dual integral restrictor design and easy user access to air flow sensor inputs. Its actuator mounts directly onto the VAV box damper shaft and can produce a torque of up to 44 lb-in with a 90-degree stroke.
To simplify controller installation and replacement, all wiring connections have been made to removable terminal blocks. Furthermore, the Spyder 10 IO runs on a power voltage of 24 VAC within a valid range of 20 to 30 VAC, and an operating temperature of 32 F to 122 F. UL/cUL listed and FCC Part 15, Subpart B, Class B approved, this product ensures exemplary performance in any industrial setting.
