The GE Fanuc ST-5351 is an SSI (Synchronous Serial Interface) input module for the RSTi distributed I/O family. It provides a single SSI channel for reading absolute encoders and similar SSI field devices into an RSTi I/O station, with selectable baud rates of 62.5K, 100K, 125K, 250K, 500K, 1M, and 2 Mbps.
The module slices into an RSTi station alongside other RSTi I/O modules and communicates with the controlling PLC through the station's network adapter, bringing absolute position data into GE Intelligent Platforms control systems.
