GE Fanuc IC694ALG442

The GE Fanuc IC694ALG442 is an advanced Analog Combination Current/Voltage Input/Output Module designed for use with the RX3i PACSystems architecture. This versatile module features four input channels and two single-ended output channels that can be configured flexibly using Machine Edition software. Input channels support a variety of ranges, including 0 to +10 V unipolar (default setting), -10 to +10 V bipolar, 0 to 20 mA, and 4 to 20 mA, with the option to configure inputs for higher precision in 4 to 20 mA mode. The IC694ALG442 is suitable for installation in any I/O slot within the RX3i system, providing adaptability for various applications. The module allows for advanced output configurations, including Hold Last State during power interruptions, reset capabilities, and ramp mode operation. Input channels can be set with low and high alarm ranges, with fault indication relayed to the CPU for each output channel. The module requires a reliable external power supply of 24 VDC and can connect through the RX3i Universal Backplane via the TB1 connector or directly to the terminal block. With a resolution of 12 binary bits from the A/D converter and the capability for 15 to 16 bit conversion on each channel, the IC694ALG442 ensures precise data handling. Additionally, it supports specific COMMREQ commands for efficient input management and output control, further enhancing its operational versatility.

The module operates with a current consumption of 95 mA at 5 VDC and 129 mA at 24 VDC, ensuring reliable performance in demanding industrial environments rated at IP 20 for environmental protection.
