The Fuji Electric FRN100G1S-4U is a FRENIC-MEGA (G1) series high-performance variable frequency drive for 460 VAC three-phase applications, rated 100 HP / 150 A (Light Duty), 75 HP / 112 A (Heavy Duty). The FRENIC-MEGA platform serves demanding industrial drive applications such as machine tools, cranes and hoists, extruders, conveyors, and process equipment.
In sensorless vector mode the drive develops up to 150 percent starting torque at 0.5 Hz without an encoder; closed-loop vector control with an optional encoder card achieves up to 200 percent starting torque and speed regulation of plus or minus 0.01 percent. Torque control mode supports tension-controlled winding applications, and a built-in customizable logic function handles simple sequencing without an external controller.
