The Benshaw RX4E-075-480-3RKP-HB is a combination reduced voltage soft starter from the RX4E Series, built on Benshaw's MX4 solid state starter technology and rated 75 HP at 480 V. The combination package pairs the SCR-based starter with a 225 A circuit breaker for disconnect and short-circuit protection, plus an across-the-line bypass contactor that carries the motor current after ramp-up to reduce heat and extend SCR life.
Housed in a NEMA 3R enclosure suitable for outdoor mounting, the RX4E is a common choice for pump stations, fans, blowers, crushers, and other three-phase motor loads where limiting inrush current and mechanical shock during starting is required.

Benshaw RX4E Enclosed Combo Starters are stocked as Heavy Duty rated soft starters for the most difficult and critical applications. They include a circuit breaker, full voltage rated emergency bypass contactor, door mounted Start/Stop pushbuttons, Local/Off/Remote selector switch and door mounted EMX4i keypad.
RX4E combo starters are available in either a NEMA12 or NEMA3R enclosure. The full voltage rated bypass contactor doubles as a running duty bypass contactor when in soft starter mode. Benshaw’s EMX4i control technology provides advanced motor protection.
Standard stock models are available for immediate shipment (480V ratings up to 600HP) and include Benshaw’s exclusive three-year warranty.
