Description
The Beckhoff EL3356 is a 1-channel precision analog input terminal for resistor bridges (strain gauges and load cells) in the EtherCAT Terminal system. It directly evaluates a full-bridge measuring bridge with 16-bit resolution and includes self-calibration and automatic zero balancing functions for weighing and force measurement applications.
The terminal measures the bridge supply and differential bridge signal, computing the load value on board, which makes it a compact alternative to an external weighing amplifier.
