The ABB A40-30-10-84 is an A-Line series AC magnetic contactor, 3-pole, non-reversing, with a 110-120 V AC coil and 1 N/O auxiliary contact. A-Line contactors were widely used for motor starting and general power switching in industrial control panels.
This part has been discontinued by the manufacturer and was replaced by the AF-line contactor AF40-30-11-13, which uses an electronically controlled wide-range coil.
