Description
The Fuji Electric NEMA1-12E2-24 is a NEMA/UL Type 1 enclosure conversion kit for FRENIC-Ace (E2) series variable frequency drives. Installing the kit upgrades the drive's ingress protection to NEMA/UL Type 1, protecting against incidental contact with internal components and limited amounts of falling dirt, which satisfies common NEC and inspector requirements for drives installed in indoor open-type locations outside a separate enclosure.
The kit is sized for a specific drive frame; the 12E2 designation in the part number identifies the matching frame and voltage class. It installs in the field without affecting the drive's thermal performance or UL listing. Multiple kit variants exist, so verify the correct part number for your drive model before ordering.
