Description
A low-profile 1.5 in (38 mm) hollow-bore encoder that slips straight onto a motor shaft. Its integral bearing set and flexible mount absorb the axial misalignment and radial runout that give kit and modular encoders trouble, so it installs fast and stays accurate. This unit is configured with a 3/8 in (0.375") bore on the 1.812 in two-hole flex mount, resolving 1000 cycles per revolution, and delivering quadrature A & B on an open-collector output. It runs on 5–28 V DC and terminates in a cable gland with a 1 ft 6 in cable. It is sealed to IP50. Typical applications include servo and brushless motor feedback, packaging machinery, printing, and material handling.
