The Maple Systems OIT4185-A00 is a text-based operator interface terminal from the OIT4000 series. It combines a 4 x 20 character vacuum fluorescent display (VFD) with 24 programmable function keys in a rugged aluminum enclosure, providing a simple, keypad-driven operator station for PLC-controlled machines.
Character-based OITs like this remain a cost-effective choice where a full graphic touchscreen is unnecessary: parameter entry, status messages, and alarm display on packaging machines, pump stations, and OEM equipment. The unit communicates with the PLC over a serial connection and carries UL and CE approvals with a Class 1 Division 2 hazardous location rating and IP65 / NEMA rated front panel.
