These units employ environmentally responsible refrigerant technology, with CFC-free R134a used in all models where compatible compressors are available, and low-ODP R22 refrigerant in remaining applications to minimize environmental impact. The model number designation clearly identifies the refrigerant type, with a "4" indicating R134a and a "3" signifying R22, allowing for straightforward specification and procurement.

The integrated digital temperature display provides real-time monitoring and precise control, while an electronic low-temperature thermostat prevents over-cooling and optimizes energy efficiency. Head pressure control minimizes unnecessary compressor cycling and protects the evaporator coil from icing, extending equipment life and reducing operational wear.
