Multiplexer mode allows for the reading of 32-bit digital patterns from the SCXI module using a serial data protocol with a maximum throughput of 1,000 words per second. In parallel mode, the module connects directly to digital I/O devices such as the DIO-24, DIO-32HS, DIO-96, and others.
