The Advantage Series RP28 is an air-cooled panel-mounted air conditioner designed to maintain precise temperature and humidity control within industrial control enclosures and electronics cabinets. It features closed-loop cooling architecture that completely isolates the enclosure interior airflow from ambient conditions, preventing warm or humid outside air from contaminating the sensitive component compartment and ensuring stable, dehumidified operating environments.

The unit is constructed from heavy-duty steel with a baked powder finish in ANSI 61 gray, offering corrosion resistance and professional appearance, with custom color options available to match facility requirements. A built-in condensate evaporator eliminates the need for manual drainage under normal operating conditions, simplifying installation and maintenance, though overflow condensate drain fitting and hose are included for high-humidity environments. The air intake is protected by a multi-layer corrugated aluminum filter secured in a one-piece aluminum frame, keeping internal components clean and extending equipment life. The RP28 employs CFC-free R134a refrigerant for environmental compliance and is equipped with a crankcase compressor heater operating on 120V or 240V to maintain proper temperatures during cold startups. Head pressure control minimizes compressor cycling and prevents evaporator coil icing, while electronic thermostatic low temperature control prevents over-cooling and delivers energy-efficient operation. A digital temperature display provides real-time monitoring of enclosure conditions.
