The IC200MDL141 is a versatile VersaMax AC Input Module featuring eight discrete input points configured for positive logic or sourcing type inputs. This module is designed to receive AC current from input devices and return it through a common terminal, allowing seamless integration of various input devices connected between the input and common terminals. Each module acts as a single group of eight discrete inputs, powered by the backplane, with processing managed by either the CPU or Network Interface Unit (NIU). The IC200MDL141 is equipped with LED indicators that provide clear visual feedback of the on/off state for each input point, along with an indicator that confirms the presence of backplane power. Prior to installation, it is essential to inspect the module for any physical damage, as damaged units should not be installed. Additionally, users must adhere to proper hot insertion procedures to prevent disruption to other modules on the same backplane. It is important to note that no derating is required for this 8-point module, regardless of mounting orientation. For isolation purposes, input to logic and frame ground withstands 250 VAC continuously or 1500 VAC for one minute.
