The IC200CHS001 is a Barrier-Style I/O Carrier designed for the VersaMax series by GE Fanuc, featuring a robust construction to facilitate seamless backplane communications and field wiring for a single input-output module. This carrier incorporates 36 barrier-style terminals, equipped with a secure latch hole that ensures the module remains steadfastly fastened. A transparent hinged door provides access while safeguarding the wiring terminals, and each input-output module is accompanied by a printed wiring card that can easily be folded and stored within the door for convenient identification. The lower edge of the carrier has notches designed for attaching auxiliary input-output terminal strips, allowing for additional bussed connection points when necessary. The IC200CHS001 mounts effortlessly onto a 7.5 mm x 35 mm DIN rail, which should be grounded for optimal electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). For applications demanding heightened resistance to mechanical vibration, panel mounting of the carrier is recommended. This versatile carrier supports up to 8 Amps per power and ground connection and accommodates current levels of up to 2 Amps per point with a voltage range of up to 264 Volt AC. Moreover, it can withstand power surges of up to 300 Volt AC without sustaining damage. Additional auxiliary input-output terminal strips may be added directly into the carrier’s lower edge to expand field wiring capabilities as required.
