The GE Fanuc IC200ALG331 is a high-performance 4-channel isolated analog output module designed for the Versamax Series. This module features 16-bit resolution and provides four isolated outputs configured for 4-20 mA current, enabling precise control for various applications. Boasting high accuracy through factory calibration, the IC200ALG331 simplifies operation with no jumpers or switches, allowing for software configuration. Users can select default or last state operation on a per-channel basis, and the module supports field recalibration upon command, including per-channel scaling and alarm level settings.

To operate, an external 24V power supply is required for the outputs, with additional supply needs for isolated current outputs. Connections must be made to terminals B17 and B18 for the module to function correctly, with the voltage outputs powered directly from the module. It is important to note that if the module supply is used as a loop supply, the loads will not be isolated. The IC200ALG331 can receive four separate words of output data from a CPU or Network Interface Unit (NIU). LED indicators confirm the presence of field and logic power specifically for the analog circuits; the field power LED will illuminate unless the power supply is interrupted.

This module differentiates itself with a unique OK LED position before the field power LED in the A slot, compared to other models. It features a backplane with a 5V output at a maximum of 10mA or a 3.3V output at a maximum of 115mA. The output characteristics include a maximum update rate of 7 ms and a minimum crosstalk rejection of 70 dB. The power consumption is rated at 15 mA from the +5V bus, ensuring efficient operation within various control systems.
