A cost-effective solution for variable-speed motor control, the Fuji Electric FRN0013C2S-4U is a FRENIC-Mini (C2) series compact variable frequency drive (VFD) rated at 7.5 HP with a 13A rated output current and designed for three-phase 460V supply.
The FRENIC-Mini (C2) is one of Fuji Electric's most popular compact drives, combining an ultra-slim enclosure with a full suite of motor control capabilities. It supports both V/f control and sensorless vector control, giving engineers the flexibility to optimize either simplicity or performance depending on the application. A built-in PID controller enables direct closed-loop process control — for example, maintaining constant pressure in pump systems or constant airflow in fan applications — without requiring an external controller.
Key standard features include: multi-step preset speed operation (up to 8 speeds), auto-tuning for simplified commissioning, RS-485 Modbus RTU communication for integration with PLCs and SCADA systems, built-in EMC filter (on select models), and comprehensive protective functions including overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, overload, and motor thermal protection.
Typical applications include food and beverage processing machinery, industrial pumps, fans, and compressors, and automated conveyor and assembly lines.
