AMK AZ 40

The AZ 40 central module is designed to supply DC bus voltage to multiple inverter modules within the AMKASYN drive system. It operates with a three-phase input voltage of 400 V AC ±10% at 47–63 Hz, generating a DC bus voltage of 560 V DC. The module provides a nominal output power of 40 kW, with an overload capacity allowing up to 80 kW for 60 seconds. It features an efficiency of approximately 98% and a power factor greater than 0.9. Cooling is facilitated through forced convection. The AZ 40 includes an integrated braking transistor and supports connection to an external brake resistor. Protective functions include line overcurrent (I²t), short circuit, and excess temperature monitoring. The module measures 255 mm in width.
