The Siemens 6SN1124-1AB00-0CA2 is a SIMODRIVE 611 power module, 2-axis, rated 50 A per axis with external cooling. The power module contains the IGBT output stage of the drive: it receives DC link power from the SIMODRIVE 611 infeed module and, driven by the plugged-in control unit (611-D, 611 universal, or 611-A), supplies the motor. SIMODRIVE 611 power modules are core service parts on SINUMERIK-controlled CNC machine tools.
The 6SN1124 series is the externally cooled variant of the SIMODRIVE 611 power module range, with the heat sink projecting through the cabinet rear wall to dissipate losses outside the enclosure.
