    The NANS3-CAAZ30AN1 is the smallest safety laser scanner from SICK, standing just 80 mm tall. Designed specifically for compact mobile platforms (AGVs/AMRs), it fits where other scanners can't. Despite its size, it packs the revolutionary safeHDDM™ scanning technology, which uses thousands of laser pulses to filter out dust and dirt, ensuring reliable 3-meter protection in harsh industrial environments.

    safeHDDM™ Technology

    Conventional scanners use a single pulse and are easily tricked by dust particles. safeHDDM (High Definition Distance Measurement) fires 80,000 pulses per second. It evaluates the entire reflection profile, allowing it to mathematically ignore "noise" (dust/dirt) and only trigger for solid objects.
