Description

The National Instruments USRP-2945 is a robust Software Defined Radio (SDR) device designed to facilitate advanced prototyping and development of wireless communication systems. It features 1,024 MB of onboard DRAM and offers four input channels, enabling a frequency range of 10 MHz to 6 GHz with a bandwidth capability of 80 MHz per channel. Powered by a Kintex-7 410T FPGA, this device supports a wide range of radio communication implementations through software, allowing the integration of various components such as amplifiers, filters, mixers, modulators, detectors, and demodulators via a personal computer.

The USRP-2945 includes two RF channels, one JTAG connector, one PCI Express (PCIe) port, and two Ethernet ports for efficient data streaming. It is equipped with multi-timing and synchronization connectors to enhance its flexibility in synchronization tasks. The device's four-channel receiver provides a frequency accuracy of 2.5 ppm and can handle a maximum input power of +10 dBm, utilizing a 14-bit resolution analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with a spurious-free dynamic range (SFDR) of 88 dB.

With a maximum power consumption of 44 watts, the USRP-2945 requires a power supply within the range of 9 to 16 VDC, Class 2 or LPS. It is designed for standard operating conditions with a temperature range of 23 °C ± 5 °C, making it unsuitable for deployment in extreme environmental conditions. The compact device measures 10.5 inches in length, 1.6 inches in height, and 8.6 inches in width, with a total weight of 3.50 lb.
