National Instruments SWB-2833

The National Instruments SWB-2833 is a Matrix Module designed specifically for SwitchBlock systems, enhancing signal routing capabilities in electronic testing environments. This module supports two NI part numbers, 781420-33 and 781421-33, and is equipped with latchable electromechanical relays that ensure reliability and longevity, boasting a no-load mechanical life of approximately 100 million cycles. The SWB-2833 features a compact 4x71, 2-wire matrix configuration, facilitating the connection of various electronic instruments such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and electrical power supplies. It simplifies wiring by minimizing the need for external re-routing, effectively streamlining the test process.

This module is designed for high-power applications and can be expanded in diverse configurations; it supports a single carrier configuration expandable up to 4x213 and can reach dimensions of 4x852 within a single PXI chassis. The SWB-2833 supports a bandwidth of 10 MHz while allowing a maximum switching power of 60 W, with capabilities of switching up to 2 A per channel at 100 V from row to column.
