National Instruments SCXI-1191

The National Instruments SCXI-1191 Multiplexer Module is engineered for high-performance signal switching, utilizing single-pole double-throw, high-bandwidth relays capable of handling frequency signals from DC to 4 GHz. With a maximum switch voltage of 30 V and a rated current of 0.33 A at this voltage, the SCXI-1191 operates exclusively in multiplexed mode. This module can be integrated into a PXI combination chassis, such as the PXI-1010 or PXI-1011, where it seamlessly interacts with a PXI MIO data acquisition device or a compatible computer-based device in the designated rightmost slot of the chassis. The design eliminates the need for external cabling between the PXI multifunction I/O module and the SCXI bus, as the connection is facilitated by a local bus interface.

To remove the SCXI-1191 from the Measurement & Automation Explorer, users should access the application, navigate to the Devices and Interfaces section, locate and expand the relevant chassis, and right-click the module or chassis intended for deletion. Confirming the deletion will remove the module, along with any associated configuration details within the SCXI chassis. The SCXI-1191 features four banks, each providing four channels, and is equipped with 20 SMA jacks for I/O connectivity.
