Description

The National Instruments SCXI-1102B is a versatile Voltage Input Module designed for precision measurement in industrial automation applications. This module features a three-pole low-pass filter with a cutoff frequency of 200 Hz and supports up to 32 differential channels with DC input coupling. The SCXI-1102B is equipped with a cold-junction compensation sensor, enabling accurate temperature measurements. Inputs can be multiplexed to a single output, which drives one DAQ device channel, facilitating integration with National Instruments' NI-DAQmx driver software and application development environments such as LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, or Measurement Studio.

The module offers a differential input signal range of ±10 V at a gain of 1 and ±0.1 V at a gain of 100. The common-mode input signal range is also ±10 V, ensuring accurate measurements within specified voltage limits. The SCXI-1102B includes input protection circuitry capable of withstanding unintentional voltages up to ±42 VAC peak or 60 VDC maximum; exceeding these limits may lead to inaccurate readings and increased settling time for associated DAQ instruments. The module supports both ground-referenced and floating input signals, with requirements for proper connections to ensure measurement integrity.
