The National Instruments / Smart E Tech RTI-12304 Rear Transition Interface is a purpose-built solution for integrating with SLSC (Switch Load and Signal Conditioning) chassis, facilitating a seamless interface between industrial equipment and measurement systems. This module is equipped with a 37-pin D-subminiature connector, adhering to the specifications of the SLSC architecture and current industry measurement standards for secure signal and power transmission. Installed at the rear of the SLSC chassis, the RTI-12304 enables direct connection between the backplane and SLSC cards, as well as between SLSC modules and external systems such as PXI or cRIO devices.

The RTI-12304 supports a variety of digital I/O applications, catering to a maximum voltage of 60VDC across its connectors. Specifically, the XP2 connector allows for 0.5A per contact, ideal for standard signal lines, while XP3 and JR1 connectors accommodate higher current demands of up to 8A per contact.
