The National Instruments PXI-7352 is a 2-Axis Stepper/Servo Motion Controller Module designed to deliver high-performance motion control for both simple and complex applications. Featuring advanced sinusoidal commutation, this module supports a wide range of motion control capabilities, including fully coordinated linear, circular, point-to-point, vector space, and gearing control. With eight 16-bit analog-to-digital converters, the PXI-7352 enhances data acquisition and provides high-resolution analog position feedback.

This controller is capable of operating in host-centric programming environments as well as embedded real-time motion configurations. Utilizing NI-Motion Drive software, users can initiate operations across all axes simultaneously. The PXI-7352 supports a PID update rate ranging from 62.5 μs to 5 ms per sample, enabling precise timing between motion and measurement through buffered breakpoints. This feature allows for the extension of a buffer of position breakpoints, facilitating digital signal triggering when the specified position is reached, with a maximum trigger rate of 2 kHz.

Additionally, the controller offers a dynamic velocity range for servo operation up to ±20,000,000 counts/s and a range for stepper operation of up to 8,000,000 steps/s, allowing for flexibility in demanding applications.
