The National Instruments PXI-4495 PXI Sound and Vibration Module is designed for high-channel-count sound and vibration measurement applications, making it ideal for advanced analysis tasks. Available in two versions, part number 780059-01 comprises the standard module, while 780060-01 includes the Sound and Vibration Measurement Suite Software. The PXI-4495 features 24-bit resolution with simultaneous sampling across all 16 input channels, ensuring precise measurements for microphones, accelerometers, and various transducers with extensive dynamic ranges. Built-in antialiasing filters adjust automatically according to the selected sampling rate, complemented by programmable gains up to 30 dB in 10 dB increments for enhanced accuracy. Each input signal is buffered, amplified, and filtered before being processed by a 24-bit delta-sigma analog-to-digital converter that utilizes digital filtering techniques. Additionally, the module supports the reading and writing of information from Transducer Electronic Data Sheets (TEDS) for smart sensors, as well as providing software-selectable IEPE constant current options. The module is compatible with the NI-DAQmx driver and comes with measurement services software, including a user-friendly configuration interface and DAQ Assistant to streamline development.
