National Instruments PXI-2514

The National Instruments PXI-2514 is a PXI Signal Insertion Switch Module designed specifically for hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) applications and electronic dependability testing. This Fault Insertion Unit (FIU) features a robust architecture with a set of direct-feed channels that can be selectively opened or closed to one or more failover buses, supporting symmetrical open or interfered connections, and allows for faults such as shorts between pins, battery voltages, and grounds on a per-channel basis. When utilized in conjunction with the LabVIEW Real-Time Module, the PXI-2514 (Part Number: 778572-14) becomes an indispensable tool for validating the reliability of control frameworks, including Engine Control Units (ECUs) and Full Authority Digital Engine Controls (FADECs).
