The National Instruments PPC-2015 Industrial Panel PC is engineered for use in environments where space is limited and expansion is not feasible. The PPC-2015 is equipped with an advanced 8-wire resistive touchscreen that enhances sensitivity and resilience in harsh environments. Connectivity options include one parallel port, two COM ports, two PS/2 ports for keyboard and mouse, a VGA port, four USB ports, three audio ports (microphone, inline, and outline), and an Ethernet port, all of which support the latest ECP and EPP protocols to facilitate interaction with printers and peripherals.

The unit comes preinstalled with Windows XP and is ready for immediate use, requiring only a power connection to begin operation. This Industrial Panel PC features dual ON/OFF switches for flexibility and ease of use. Maintenance is straightforward, with access to the CD-ROM, CPU, SDRAM, and hard drive through a secure door above the motherboard, allowing jumper wire adjustments without tool removal. It is advisable to avoid using the PPC-2015 in temperatures below -20 °C or above 60 °C to prevent damage. Although National Instruments has announced the obsolescence of the PPC-2015, it remains available for purchase and support through Apex Waves.

For specifications, the PPC-2015 includes a 15-inch XGA/TFT color LCD, a 40 GB hard drive, and is powered by a 2.0 GHz Pentium 4 processor.
