National Instruments PCI-6013

The National Instruments PCI-6013 is a multifunction data acquisition (DAQ) card specifically designed for OEM applications as well as research, design verification, laboratory automation, and testing in industrial environments. This versatile device features a comprehensive suite of capabilities, including 16 single-ended or 8 differential analog input channels, operating with a 16-bit resolution and a maximum sampling rate of 200 kS/s, ensuring high precision and accuracy. The PCI-6013 incorporates two 24-bit counters, general-purpose digital input/output with eight configurable lines, and supports DC input coupling with a maximum permissible voltage of ±11 V with respect to ground.

Robust data handling is facilitated through a 512-sample FIFO buffer, enabling efficient data transfers via direct memory access (DMA), interrupts, or programmed I/O. The device supports both demand transfer and single transfer modes, accommodating scatter-gather DMA configurations for improved performance. With the DAQ-STC chip integrated, the PCI-6013 enhances flexibility in timing signal interfacing using Programmable Function Input (PFI) pins, facilitating seamless connection and control of external circuitry. Thirteen internal timing signals on the DAQ-STC chip are fully software-configurable, maximizing operational versatility. The PCI-6013 connects through a 68-pin male SCSI-II interface, is powered by a +5 VDC supply consuming 0.7 A, and comes with a three-year warranty.
