The National Instruments PCI-1428 (Part Number: 778315-01) is a high-performance Camera Link frame grabber tailored for scientific imaging and machine vision applications demanding high-speed and high-resolution digital imaging with simplified cabling. Capable of sustaining a maximum PCI bandwidth of 133 MB/s and accommodating pixel clock frequencies ranging from 20 MHz to 50 MHz, the PCI-1428 is compatible with both base-configuration and medium-configuration Camera Link cameras. It features onboard programmable region of interest (ROI) processing, pixel decimation, and four 256 by 8-bit lookup tables (LUTs) to enhance image acquisition capabilities.

For synchronization with motion control, CAN, and data acquisition devices, the PCI-1428 utilizes either the PXI trigger bus or the RTSI bus. Additionally, the device supports medium configuration mode using both connectors, allowing for synchronized data throughput across two streams between the frame grabber and camera.
