National Instruments PCI-1424

The National Instruments PCI-1424 is a digital camera image acquisition board designed for high-performance imaging applications. Available in two variants, part numbers 777662-01 (RS-422/TTL) and 777662-02 (LVDS/TTL), this frame grabber features 32-bit resolution and is capable of capturing both color and greyscale images. It utilizes a robust internal memory system with 16 MB of SDRAM, which can be expanded with additional memory modules to enhance image processing and buffering capabilities, offering an impressive image acquisition rate of 200 MB/s at a clock speed of 50 MHz. It supports up to four external trigger I/O lines with a TTL voltage range of 0 to 5 V, along with the ability to configure a rectangular region of interest (ROI) window for optimized data transfer across the PCI bus. The device is engineered for versatility, integrating programmable polarity options and real-time data mapping through its four 8-bit or two 10-to-16-bit lookup tables (LUTs). Designed for a wide operational temperature range of 0° to 55 °C and a storage temperature range of -20° to 70 °C, the PCI-1424 maintains a compact form factor, measuring 4.5 by 13.2 inches and weighing 0.5 pounds.
