The National Instruments NI-9215 C Series Voltage Input Module offers a versatile solution for voltage measurement applications, featuring four concurrently sampled differential analog input channels. Available in three configurations—BNC (part number 779138-01), spring terminal (part number 783739-01), and screw terminal (part number 779011-01)—each version provides 250 Vrms channel-to-earth ground isolation, except for the BNC model, which offers 60 VDC isolation. This module operates with a maximum sample rate of 100 kS/s per channel and an analog input resolution of 16 bits, ensuring high precision and speed in data acquisition. The NI-9215 is compatible with CompactRIO and CompactDAQ platforms and integrates seamlessly with various software, including Visual C++, Visual Studio, LabVIEW, and Signal Express. Unique to the NI-9215 is its ability to sample all analog input channels instantaneously, supported by separate track and hold amplifiers for enhanced performance. It features overvoltage protection up to 100 volts for safeguarding against unexpected signal connections. The module is enclosed and operates within a temperature range of -40 °C to 70 °C, fulfilling stringent environmental requirements.
