The National Instruments CSM-200mA Current Shunt Module is a precision instrument designed for accurate current measurement up to 200 mA. This module is part of the CSM family and facilitates the computation of current status by measuring the voltage drop across its built-in precision resistor. With a conversion factor of 100 mV per 100 mA, the CSM-200mA ensures efficient performance and an impressive DC accuracy of ±0.075% at frequencies up to 25 kHz. The module features a 1 Ω sense resistor and a burden voltage of 325 mV. It includes a banana plug with a spacing of 0.75 inches, making it compatible with various National Instruments multimeters, such as the NI-4050 Digital Multimeter, as well as other third-party digital multimeters capable of measuring both AC and DC RMS voltage. The CSM-200mA is rated for a maximum working voltage of 250 V in either HI to earth ground or LO to earth ground configurations, and it meets Installation Category II requirements.
