The National Instruments BNC-2810 is a versatile Serial Data Analyzer (SDA) Connector Block designed for seamless integration with the NI-6810 Serial Data Analyzer. This connector block supports dual modes of operation, allowing it to be either connected directly to a desktop computer or mounted on a DIN rail compliant with the CENELEC 35 mm standard. The BNC-2810 facilitates connections for various input signals, including RS-232 and RS-485 channels, alongside programmable channels. It provides access to clock signals and features connections for input/output triggers, digital input/output (DIO) lines, and output enable signals. An external power supply can also be integrated with the BNC-2810 to enhance functionality.

For optimal operation, the BNC-2810 requires additional components such as a PXI chassis or computer, a compatible serial data analyzer (e.g., PXI-6810 or PCI-6810), and a shielded cable (SH6868-D1). If mounted on a DIN rail, appropriate hardware for installation is necessary.
