What is the role of this servo amplifier?
This unit controls larger AC servo motors in Mitsubishi motion systems.
What applications typically use this drive?
It is commonly used in heavy-duty automation and industrial machinery.
Is this drive designed for higher-power motors?
Yes, it supports higher-capacity servo motor applications.
Does it use feedback for control?
Yes, it operates with closed-loop feedback for accurate motion control.
Is this drive used in legacy systems?
Yes, it is widely used to support older Mitsubishi servo platforms.
Our MR-J2-200A model operates on a three-phase voltage supply between 200 and 230 VAC, delivering efficiency and accuracy for any job. Constructed with a total weight of 2 kg, the power source has an input frequency requirement ranging from 50 to 60 hertz. It can accommodate varying voltage levels stretching from 170VAC - 253VAC and a 5% tolerance in frequency swings ensuring optimal performance across all applications.
This powerful servo drive variant offers various protective features to ensure a safe and reliable operation. The MR-J2-200A is monitored by safeguards such as the overcurrent cutoff, regenerative fault avoidance, Undervoltage protection, and more. It provides precisely controlled performance with its sine wave PWM signal rate reaching up to 250 Hz response time.
The model's position control is designed with precise pulse frequency capabilities - up to 400 kbps for the differential receiver and 200 kbps for the open collector. It also allows users to adjust in-position range settings from 0 all the way up to a maximum of 10,000 pulses.
The MR-J2-200A offers expansive speed control capabilities, with a 1:1000 ratio in analog command mode and a staggering rate of 1:5000 for internal command. With an input range from 0 to +/- 10V, this model provides the precision you need to execute sophisticated applications quickly and accurately.
For peak performance, the MR-J2-200A module should be maintained in a dry atmosphere with a relative humidity of no higher than 90%, between -20 and +65°C. Professional installation and operation by an experienced technician are essential to reduce vibration levels. Keep the surrounding space sterile and clean during setup and operations to avoid interference by dust, oil mist, or other particles.
The MR-J2-200A servo amplifier requires a unique installation: vertically in an IP54 control cabinet, allowing at least 100 mm of clearance between the top of each appliance and the interior walls. When numerous amplifiers are utilized together, it is essential to install a fan to maintain temperatures within safe limits; the otherwise ambient temperature can rise dramatically. Finally, be sure to expel air from any dusty or dirty environments prior to installation for proper operation.
To guarantee electrical safety and effective operation, the MR-J2-200A servo amplifier must be properly connected to the control box's protective earth. An external emergency stop signal must be securely linked with SG for any operations initiated.
Additionally, utmost attention should be taken when connecting a diode as it needs to point in the correct direction; wiring backward will inhibit sending out signals and disable all safety features of the unit. The total current running through external relays should not exceed 80mA - if such threshold is surpassed, additional power supply sources are required by law.
