This unit is equipped with UL/CSA Recognized ball-bearing motors available in both permanent split capacitor and shaded pole configurations, each including automatic-reset thermal overload protection to prevent motor damage from excessive heat. Kooltronic's motor design minimizes temperature rise through direct cooling via the blower's intake air, extending motor longevity and reducing maintenance requirements. The motors carry a Declaration of Conformity to applicable CE Standards and operate reliably across an exceptionally broad temperature range of -20F to 250F, enabling deployment in diverse thermal environments. Special permanent lubricants maintain consistent performance throughout this extreme operating range without requiring seasonal servicing.
